Your flight begins with a takeoff on the bay just outside of Pier 39. As you lift off the water, with Fisherman's Wharf on your left, the pilot begins a turn around Alcatraz Island. You are still just a few hundred feet in the air, and the view is spectacular. The flight continues around Angel Island, along the picturesque towns of Tiburon, Belvedere, and Sausalito, and over the Golden Gate Recreation Area to the Pacific Ocean. Heading south around the Marin Headlands, you will fly over Muir Woods, around the Point Bonita lighthouse and directly above the Golden Gate Bridge!

With the Palace of Fine Arts on your right, the flight continues over the city of San Francisco, where downtown will be on your left. Here, your pilot begins a gentle descent along the waterfront, flying over the Bay Bridge, and landing in the Bay between Treasure Island and Pier 39. Tickets can be purchased and Gift certificates redeemed at our ticket booth on Pier 39. Reservations are recommended.

From Sausalito

Reservations are recommended to the Golden Gate Tour from Sausalito. The Golden Gate Tour will fly you directly out to the Pacific Coast, and south to the Golden Gate Bridge. After flying over the bridge, you will continue your flight over the Financial District and Downtown San Francisco, along the waterfront, Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, then north to Alcatraz, around Angel Island, and along the picturesque cities of Tiburon, Belvedere and Sausalito. This tour lasts approximately 30 minutes, and offers a great balance of sights from Marin to San Francisco. This flight covers the same route as the Golden Gate Tour which departs from Pier 39, but with a departure and landing point in Richardson Bay.

These seaplanes are ideal for sightseeing and photography. Their high wings, large view windows and untinted glass present panoramic views and unrivaled photo opportunities. Passenger capacity varies from 2 to 6, depending on aircraft. The experienced pilots will point out landmarks as you cruise by at a leisurely pace

This tour operates 7 days a week (except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day & New Years Day)

There are hourly departures from Pier 39 (Morning and early afternoon) and hourly departures from Sausilito.

This tour departs daily from both locations, weather permitting the customer can decide to depart from either location. There is a courtesy Shuttle pick-up and drop-off service from Pier 39 to Sausilito (allow two hours for your tour time)
