Disneyland Park

This is where the magic began 50 years ago and "The Happiest Place on Earth" continues to enchant and surprise with its eight distinct regions and world-class attractions.

Adventureland is the perfect playground of mystery and intrigue; Main Street USA is pure old time Americana; New Orleans Square revels in the timeless appeal of Mardi Gras, jazz and southern cuisine; Critter County is home to Brer Rabbit and his many pals; Frontierland celebrates the dream of the American pioneer and the wild-west; Fantasyland is a fairy-tale world of make believe where dreams really do come true: Mickey's Toontown is the wacky, loony world of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and all the gang; and Tomorrowland is a tribute to technology and a state-of-the-art world on the move. The attractions and rides are just fantastic including the warp speed adventure Star Tours, the daring roller coaster Space Mountain, the wonderful Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Indiana Jones™ Adventure, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the classic Pirates of the Caribbean and the magical Alice in Wonderland. The character filled Parade of the Stars is a daily treat and in the evening the skies above Disneyland Park explode with "Believe: There's Magic in the Stars", a spectacular display of fireworks and pyrotechnics with accompanying symphonic sounds. The spectacular and fiery Fantasmic! in which Sorcerer Mickey and friends fight a night-time battle against Disney's most villainous characters is performed twice nightly in a special seated area on the Rivers of America in Frontierland. This may be the oldest park, but it still takes some beating!

Disney's California Adventure Park

This splendid new park comprising three distinct lands is a celebration of California's rich natural beauty and pays tribute to its people and their spirit of adventure, cultural richness, out-door lifestyle and Hollywood glamour. Golden State reveals the diversity of California from the Pacific to the Valleys and from the peaks to the vineyards. Here you can take the Grizzly River Run and roar through white water rapids, mountain caverns and tumbling waterfalls. You can take a humorous look at insect life in It's Tough to Be a Bug or take an airborne adventure over the state's most famous landmarks in Soarin'™ Over California.

Paradise Pier is all about "fun in the sun" with all the legendary excitement of California's surfside boardwalks. Here you can choose to relax and take in the breathtaking view of Paradise Pier Lagoon, or you can howl with excitement on the California Screamin' roller coaster featuring a high speed 360 degree loop. Hollywood Pictures Backlot is a chance to step into the ritzy, glitzy world of the silver screen in this bustling recreation of the golden age of Hollywood. You can become Tinseltown's latest new star in the whimsical Superstar Limo or you can take a peek at what really goes on in the creation of all our favourite characters in Disney Animation and even have a go yourself in the interactive Sorcerer's Workshop. The dazzling lights, enchanting music and all your favourite characters are on show every day as the classic Disney's Electrical Parade makes its way down the streets of Disney's California Adventure, and The Power of Blast is performed several times a day at the Hyperion Theatre in Hollywood Pictures Backlot.

Downtown Disney District

Conveniently located between both parks is Downtown Disney - 370,000 square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment where you can come and go as you like day or night. During the day there's a wide range of family oriented entertainment, a great selection of restaurants including the Rainforest Café and ESPN Zone, and a host of shops and boutiques including Hoypoloi and World of Disney. By night the area pulsates with music, dance clubs and live entertainment and you can choose between such venues as Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen or the House of Blues.
